All swaps should last only 3 months. This allows time for sign-ups, creation and postage times. The maximum length should not exceed 5 months. All dates for deadlines and startups will be posted in the TITLE of the topic where the swap is held.

You must have been a member for at least 1 month before you can participate in a swap. If you are interested, please fill out our application form:

You may host your own swaps after you have been a member for 3 months. You must also use the application form above. Be sure to change the option to HOST instead of SWAPPER. Some cases may be exempt from needing the whole 3 months. This includes people I know to be trustworthy.

Once you have applied and been accepted, you will get a message with all the necessary details for hosting. This will include what is expected of being a good host, and what to do in the event of time or financial trouble.

All swaps must be accompanied by proper postage. Either a self-addressed, stamped envelope, or paypal cost of postage to the host. More details on that will be provided in the swap.

You are allowed to send your host a little gift. It can be an extra card, or stickers, or some other smaller paraphernalia that is art-related and can fit in an envelope. This does NOT exempt anyone from compensating for postage, however. No brownie points are offered. It is NOT required, though! And no host is allowed to ask for gifts.

DO NOT compare artwork to the art of others.

Respect due dates and everyone's time and efforts. It is better to withdraw from a swap rather than hold it up.

Everyone MUST post in the swap when they have sent out their cards. It is always best to include a phone photo of the postage slip, provided you have blurred out any personal information.

Every now and then, we may do swaps that include art that isn't yours. Rules will be posted for each swap on what is and isn't allowed.
