Sven and I were taking a closet apart so we could move it to a different room. As we were getting to the back of it, there was a screw that wasn't looking it's best. So we tried to remove it, only to strip out the screw head. The rubber band trick wouldn't have even worked with this bad boy...
So, we tried twisting it by hand from the back. Yeah, that didn't work either. So Sven grabbed a hammer and tried to tap the back of it lightly as to not mess up the closet. (he wasn't tapping it hard, because that would probably have made the whole thing collapse...) That wasn't working either. So instead, we took the front and back and kind of tried to wallow out the wood around it. We finally got it to come loose. This is what it looked like! No wonder we couldn't get the damned thing out!
I thought maybe Sven bent it, but he wasn't beating the shit out of it or anything! Definitely not hard enough to do that... What were they thinking when they put this thing together??
